Electrical and Maintenance Tips

  • Don’t remove a plug from a socket by pulling the cord – pull the plug instead
  • Make the most of natural light. Cleaning windows and skylights regularly will allow maximum daylight to enter the building and significantly reduce the need for electric lighting.
  • Don’t use more light than you need. If you’re only working in one part of the room, why have all the lights on? Don’t strain your eyes, but try not to use more light than you need.
